As many as 35 Indian nationals were expelled from Kazakhstan at once, reports infohub.kz.
The Almaty Police Department announced the deportation of 35 Indian citizens who were in the country illegally. All of them had overstayed their permitted period and continued to remain in Kazakhstan without legal grounds.
During targeted operations, migration police officers from the Almaty Police Department located the foreigners and detained them. By court decision, all violators were expelled from the Republic of Kazakhstan. Police officers accompanied their departure until they passed border and passport control at the airport.
Additionally, representatives of the host party were brought to administrative responsibility for failing to take timely measures to ensure the departure of foreign citizens after the expiration of their permitted stay.
