Two U.S. soldiers killed, four wounded in Iran attack on base in Jordan

Two American soldiers were killed and four were wounded in an Iranian attack on a U.S. airbase in Jordan, the U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed, according to infohub.kz.

The U.S. Central Command issued a statement on social media platform X regarding the attack on the base in Jordan.

Tehran struck the base with missiles and drones, resulting in two deaths, four injuries requiring hospitalization, and one service member listed as missing.

Other soldiers with minor injuries have returned to duty.
