At least 30 civilians have been killed and 260 wounded in the latest round of escalation between Iran and the United States, the Iranian government officially announced. In addition, the Tasnim news agency reported the deaths of seven military personnel, according to infohub.kz.

The U.S. Central Command said that over the past week, Iran attacked seven commercial vessels. As a result of these attacks, about a dozen crew members have been killed, injured, or reported missing.

The mutual strikes resumed last week, triggered by Iran's shelling of several vessels in a strait that had not coordinated their passage with Tehran. In response, Iran attacked U.S. military bases in Kuwait, Bahrain, and Jordan.
