Iran has announced a retaliatory operation against the United States, striking US military bases in Bahrain and Kuwait with missiles and drones, reports infohub.kz.
Iranian armed forces attacked the US bases Sheikh Isa in Bahrain and Ali Al Salem in Kuwait with missiles and drones. The strikes destroyed several MQ9 drones, as well as warehouses containing weapons and spare parts, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).
"During the operation using missiles and UAVs, several warehouses of weapons and spare parts for enemy ships and aircraft were destroyed at the Sheikh Isa base in Bahrain. Also targeted was the site where enemy MQ9 drones were stationed at the Ali Al Salem base in Kuwait, with several drones destroyed or damaged," the IRGC statement said.
Iran emphasized that "not a single drop of oil will be shipped out of the region until the United States ends its atrocities in the Middle East." Earlier, President Donald Trump officially notified Congress that the US is again at war with Iran.
