Feda-Hossein Maleki, a member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, said Tehran has delivered an ultimatum to Middle Eastern countries demanding they abandon support for the United States if hostilities between Iran and the US resume, infohub.kz reports.

According to the lawmaker, as reported by RIA Novosti, the warning was conveyed to regional states. "An ultimatum was delivered to regional countries — to renounce any support for the US. During the 40-day war, we struck bases on the territory of any country that the US used to attack Iran," Maleki told reporters.

He also noted that if military action resumes, Tehran will be able to determine which regional, particularly Arab, states are inclined to support Washington.

"In that case, the decisions taken by Iran may go beyond strikes on the military bases of these countries, and these countries themselves will be classified as hostile states," the Iranian parliament representative warned.
