Tehran says it has information that Washington has decided to resume military action against the Islamic Republic and has threatened a harsh response to any new attack, the website infohub.kz reports.
According to NUR.KZ, citing the Anadolu agency, the command of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters announced it had received information that the United States had decided to attack Iran again after securing the approval of a number of countries in the region.
"We warn: if the United States makes another mistake against Iran, all of its assets in the region and the locations where American forces are stationed will, without any restrictions or distinctions, become targets of painful attacks. If you make a mistake, you will become targets of painful attacks," the Iranian military said in a statement issued after receiving this information.
Iran also warned that if countries in the region act alongside the United States in aggressive actions against the Islamic Republic, they will be considered accomplices.
The commander of Iran's Ground Forces, Brigadier General Ali Jahanshahi, said the country's border units are ready for possible threats.
