Supermodel Irina Shayk has revealed in a candid new interview with Vogue Arabia that she is currently single and searching for the man of her dreams, according to infohub.kz.

The 40-year-old Shayk says she is enjoying a happy period in her life. Her main roles are mother, daughter, and sister. She is raising her nine-year-old daughter Lea together with the girl's father, actor Bradley Cooper. The model calls motherhood her greatest achievement.

Yet there is still plenty of room for love in her life. Shayk admits she believes in love and thinks she will one day meet the right man.

According to Shayk, her mother jokes that this person could even be the repairman who comes to fix the TV. Shayk herself replies that it makes no difference to her.

"If there is a man who brings love and calm into my life, I will accept him," she says.

The model added, however, that at 40 she is no longer willing to settle for "some crazy" story just to be in a relationship.

Despite her global fame, Shayk believes her true path in the fashion industry only began after she turned 30, while her first decade was a struggle for recognition.

The model still attends castings for avant-garde designers (such as Yohji Yamamoto and Junya Watanabe) on the same terms as everyone else, proving her professionalism alongside newcomers.

On the red carpet, the supermodel often chooses archival outfits or pieces by young and local designers to thank the industry for her success.

In the interview, Shayk also said she now feels far more confident than she did in her youth. She called 40 a new blossoming for women and admitted she no longer worries about wrinkles or her figure.

"I love every part of my body," the model says.

She added that she is now ready to celebrate every wrinkle on her face and believes society should allow women to look however they want at any age.

Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that supermodel Irina Shayk opened up her archives and published photos from her school days in a small Russian town. She shared the series of photos on Instagram.
