Pavlodar's FC Irtysh secured a come-from-behind 3:2 victory over Aktau's Kaspyi in a home match of the 20th round of the Kazakhstan Premier League, according to infohub.kz.
The match took place at the Central Stadium in Pavlodar. In the 12th minute, French forward Noha Ndombasi opened the scoring, putting Kaspyi ahead.
In the second half, the hosts managed to turn the game around. Ivorian Jean Morel Po and Japanese midfielder Yushi Shimamura scored two goals within five minutes, first equalizing and then taking the lead.
However, the Aktau side refused to give up: Belarusian winger Pavel Sedko converted a penalty to level the score. The drama came in the 15th added minute, when the referee awarded another penalty against the visitors, which Jean Morel Po confidently converted to complete his brace.
Thanks to this win, Irtysh collected 17 points and sit 15th in the KPL standings. Kaspyi, with 21 points, are in 11th place.
