Islam Chesnokov, a forward for the Kazakhstan national team, will continue his career at the Russian football club Krylia Sovetov from Samara, reports the website infohub.kz.

The Samara club's press service officially announced the transfer of the Kazakhstani footballer. Chesnokov was presented in an unusual format — as a painting displayed in the Victoria Gallery.

Previously, the 26-year-old player defended the colors of Kostanay's Tobol. In total, he played 103 matches for the Kazakh club in all tournaments, scoring 30 goals and providing 17 assists.

Chesnokov also had a period in Scotland during his career. As part of Hearts, the Kazakhstani played 11 matches and scored one goal, and the team won silver medals in the national championship at the end of the season.

At the international level, the midfielder represents the Kazakhstan national team. He has played 24 matches for the national team and scored twice.

Details of the agreement with Krylia Sovetov have not yet been announced. According to previously appearing information, it may be a loan with a subsequent mandatory purchase of the player.
