Kazakhstan's Ministry of Health and Israel's Berman Group plan to launch a new format for training medical personnel: foreign specialists will conduct hands-on master classes at domestic clinics, infohub.kz reports.
Deputy Health Minister Manas Ramazanov and Berman Group Director Mark Berman discussed the prospects for cooperation at a meeting in Astana. The parties talked about training Kazakh medical personnel and introducing modern medical technologies.
The meeting also examined opportunities for developing practice-oriented training for Kazakh doctors. This concerns master classes that are planned to be held at Kazakh medical institutions.
"It is important that our cooperation has a concrete practical result. The knowledge and technologies gained must be applied in Kazakh hospitals and ultimately work to improve the quality of medical care for patients," Ramazanov emphasized.
Meeting participants separately discussed joint projects in medicine and science — from training and exchange of experience to conducting joint medical research.
Recall that in early August, an international master class on treating deep burns in children and restoring mobility after severe injuries was held in Almaty. It took place at the Center for Pediatric Emergency Medical Care.
At that time, Turkish specialists not only demonstrated new treatment methods to their Kazakh colleagues but also brought modern equipment for skin grafting and handed it over to the Almaty center. Over the course of a week, specialists from Turkey performed joint operations in Kazakhstan, consulted patients, and reviewed complex clinical cases.
