The first day of filming for the new Jackie Chan movie officially kicked off in Aktau, reports infohub.kz.

Salem Entertainment has released footage from the project's launch ceremony. Following tradition, the crew smashed a film clapperboard, symbolically marking the start of work on the movie 'Armour of God: Ultimatum'. The ceremony was attended by director Robert Kuhn and Jackie Chan himself.

Salem Entertainment emphasized that this is a historic event for Kazakh cinema. Part of the filming will take place in Kazakhstan, with Aktau serving as one of the main production locations.

In the released footage, Jackie Chan is seen holding the symbolic clapperboard and interacting with the film crew.

Earlier, the akim of the Mangystau region, Nurdaulet Kilybay, met with Jackie Chan, who arrived in the region to participate in the filming of the international feature film 'Armour of God 4: Ultimatum'. According to the akimat, one of the main shooting locations will be the Bozjyra tract.
