World-renowned actor and director Jackie Chan showed interest in a robot dog designed for public safety during his visit to Aktau. He filmed the device on his mobile phone, reports website infohub.kz.
According to the Telegram channel of the Mangystau Region Public Communications Center, the video shows the actor watching the robot dog with interest and filming it. The department added that Kazakhstan is gradually implementing digital technologies to strengthen public safety. Similar robotic platforms have previously been used in Astana and Almaty, and this experience is now being applied in Aktau.
According to the Mangystau Region Police Department, the robot dogs are designed for patrolling public places, monitoring the operational situation, and preventing crimes. They are equipped with high-precision cameras and intelligent surveillance systems. The devices transmit video in real time to the Operational Control Center, allowing police to respond quickly to incidents.
In addition, the robotic platforms can detect suspicious objects, signs of smoke and fire, and automatically send notifications to relevant services in emergencies. This confirms their important role not only in maintaining public order but also in protecting lives and health.
Recall that several days ago, Jackie Chan arrived in Aktau to participate in filming 'Armour of God 4: Ultimatum' and drove a car through the city streets.
