Jet Finance has received an award from the Association of Microfinance Organizations of Kazakhstan (AMFOK) in the category "Best MFI for Entrepreneurship Development and SME Support." The award ceremony was held on September 21 in Almaty at The Ritz-Carlton, as part of the Central Asian Microfinance Forum, according to infohub.kz.

The award was presented by Miralaziz Sarikovich Umarov, executive director of the Association of Microfinance Institutions of Uzbekistan. Arslan Kаzez, deputy general director of Jet Finance, accepted it on the company's behalf.

AMFOK's decision was based on Jet Finance's portfolio performance in the individual entrepreneurship segment. Over the year — from July 31, 2025, to July 31, 2026 — the loan portfolio of confirmed individual entrepreneurs grew from 8.58 billion to 10.03 billion tenge, or 16.8%. The company's total loan portfolio rose from 39.87 billion to 49.17 billion tenge over the same period — a 23.3% increase. Trade consistently accounts for the largest share of the individual entrepreneurs portfolio — more than 37% on both reporting dates — followed by the services sector.

"This award recognizes not a one-off initiative but years of systematic work with the SME segment. We see that entrepreneurs today are taking on larger financing for specific business growth goals, and our job is to give them access to capital on transparent and clear terms," said Arslan Kаzez, deputy general director of Jet Finance.

The AMFOK forum is an annual platform for dialogue among microfinance market participants, regulators and investors in Central Asia. This year's forum also featured a panel session with Nikita Vilgelm, Group CFO of Jet Finance and Yusr, devoted to the funding market for microfinance organizations and investor expectations.
