Bloomsbury will release two new books set in the Harry Potter universe in February 2027. Both will be part of the Pocket Potters series, aimed primarily at young readers, according to infohub.kz.
The new editions will focus on three characters from the wizarding world — Professor Minerva McGonagall and the twins Fred and George Weasley.
Pocket Potters: Fred and George will follow the brothers' adventures at Hogwarts, their pranks and inventions, and the founding of their joke shop, Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, in Diagon Alley. The book is illustrated by Helen Brady.
The second book, Pocket Potters: McGonagall, will center on Professor McGonagall. It will cover her work as head of Gryffindor House, her ability to transform into a cat, her Transfiguration lessons and her relationships with Harry Potter and other Hogwarts teachers. The illustrations are by Natalie Smillie.
Both books will bring together quotes, key story moments, illustrations and little-known facts about the characters. They are based on J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter books. The new books cost £7 each (around 4,150 tenge), and a pre-order discount is currently available.
Kursiv LifeStyle previously reported that three Harry Potter-themed zones will open at Warner Bros. World on Yas Island in 2029.
