Kazakhstan's Kairat and Italy's Atalanta played out a 1-1 draw in the third round of the UEFA Conference League league phase for the 2026/27 season, with the match in Bergamo ending level, infohub.kz reports.
The game was played at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d'Italia. The visitors took the lead in the 53rd minute through Spanish forward Marc Gual, with Brazilian striker Edmilson providing the assist.
The hosts equalised late on, with Montenegrin forward Nikola Krstović levelling in the 82nd minute after being set up by Slovenian defender Relja Obrić.
The draw was Kairat's second in the Conference League league phase, with the team also having one defeat. The Almaty side moved up to 26th place in the table with two points. Atalanta sit 16th with four points.
Kairat's next Conference League match will be at home against Sweden's Mjällby from Hällevik. The game will kick off on 26 November at 20:30 Kazakhstan time.
