The saga surrounding YE's (Kanye West) shows in St. Petersburg has finally come to an end: the organizers have officially announced the cancellation of the concerts, infohub.kz reports.
In a Telegram channel, the agency SAY Agency addressed fans with an official notice of the cancellation. According to its representatives, refunds for purchased tickets will be available starting October 12, 2026. The organizers promise to publish details on the rules and conditions for refunds later.
"Say Agency is deeply grateful to everyone who stood by us over these past month and a half: supporting us, worrying with us and, like us, waiting for these concerts with all their hearts. We remain in touch and continue our work," the agency wrote.
The YE concerts in St. Petersburg were announced on August 17 — the performances at Gazprom Arena were scheduled for October 10 and 11. Tickets quickly went on sale, but just a week later Gazprom Arena, where the show was to be held, said no lease agreement had been signed with the organizers.
After that, the fate of the concerts was called into question several times. Say Agency insisted the shows would go ahead on the original dates and said negotiations with the venue were ongoing. At the same time, Gazprom Arena reported a possible postponement. In September, the organizers continued to make promises, and on September 29 tour partner Access Opera announced the cancellation of the performances.
West may nevertheless come to Russia. Vedomosti claims the rapper could perform in Moscow on July 10, 2027. The date was tentatively listed by Turkey's ILS Vision, though both the date and the venue may change.
