On the US stock exchange NASDAQ, shares of Kazakh fintech company Kaspi.kz reached $99.55, up 4.39%. At one point, the securities nearly broke the psychological level of $100, hitting $99.98, according to infohub.kz.

On the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange, the last price of Kaspi.kz shares was 46,500 tenge, 3.44% higher than the previous session.

Analysts at Freedom Broker attribute the rise, which began on Monday, to moderately positive financial results for the second quarter and first half of 2026. Revenue for the half-year increased by 23% year-on-year to 2.19 trillion tenge. EBITDA grew by 7% to 765.1 billion tenge. Net profit, however, slightly decreased by 0.4% to 510.8 billion tenge. In the second quarter, revenue rose 15% to 1.11 trillion tenge ($2.3 billion), while net profit remained almost unchanged at 258.9 billion tenge ($539 million).

However, perhaps the main reason for the share price increase was the news of a possible 18% increase in quarterly dividends to 1,000 tenge per American depositary share (ADS). Shareholders will make a decision on this on September 9.

Earlier, the board of directors of Kaspi.kz recommended paying dividends of 1,000 tenge per share. The total dividend payout could amount to 199.5 billion tenge.
