In the 19th round of the Kazakhstan Premier League, Aktau's Kaspiy defeated Astana's Zhenis 3-2, reports infohub.kz.

The match took place at Kaysar Arena in Kyzylorda, with Kaspiy as the nominal hosts. The first goal came in the ninth minute, scored by Kazakh defender Amandyk Nabikhanov of Kaspiy. In the 22nd minute, Brazilian midfielder Gyan dos Santos Martins of Zhenis equalized. Eight minutes later, Portuguese defender Andre Amaral restored Kaspiy's lead. In the second half, on the 52nd minute, Kazakh forward Ramazan Abylaykhan extended the advantage for the hosts. Later, Kazakh defender Sagadat Tursynbay pulled one back for Zhenis. In the closing stages, the capital side lost two players as Kazakh Islambek Kuat and Bosnian Ivan Saravanya received straight red cards.

The victory gave Kaspiy 21 points, moving them up to tenth place in the standings. Zhenis, with 22 points, are in ninth place after 19 rounds.
