During a visit to the county of Sussex, the royal visited a lunch club at the Pulborough village hall. Chatting with locals, the 44-year-old Kate shared details of her home life. According to her, washing dishes brings her pleasure, and the division of chores in the family was settled long ago: Prince William takes on the drying, and they also enlist the children to help around the house.
The princess noted that she and her husband work as a well-coordinated duo. Members of the lunch club greeted the revelation with a smile, while journalists recalled that Queen Elizabeth II also shared a love of this household task. A former private secretary to Prime Minister John Major previously said that after traditional picnics at Balmoral Castle, the queen always preferred to wash the dishes herself and turned down help from guests.
