The screening of Disney's live-action adaptation of 'Moana' has started in Kazakhstan. It has become known which Kazakh artists performed the songs in Kazakh and Russian, reports infohub.kz.

21-year-old Kazakh singer Sanat Asuat has become the voice of the main character in the songs for the Russian-language worldwide release. For a graduate of the Kazakh National Academy of Arts named after T. Zhurgenov and a finalist of the project 'The Voice of Azerbaijan', this is her first experience in voice acting and the fulfillment of a long-held dream.

'Those who have known me for a long time probably understand how important this event is for me. I sincerely love all Disney projects, and now the time has come when I have become part of this magical world. How good that dreams come true!' Sanat wrote on Instagram.

The vocalist noted that the character of Moana is very close to her. 'Moana is brave, courageous, free, always ready to follow her own path, towards her dream and goals, which is similar to the historical image of a strong Kazakh girl. And in this we are very similar. Also in the film, the theme of connection with ancestors and one's family is close to me. I feel this connection very deeply, and it is of great importance to me,' noted Sanat Asuat.

Singer Indira Edilbayeva also shared her experience. She posted on Instagram and showed a photo from the film's premiere. 'Finally I can share this news with you! Today the premiere of the film 'Moana' took place, in which Nazima and Tair Sakhiyev (Jaman T) and I performed the final soundtrack 'Everything Ahead' and 'Bari Alda',' Indira noted. She also added that being part of such a large-scale project is a great pride.
