Kazakhstan is holding Days of Kazakh Medicine in Kyrgyzstan from September 15 to 18, organized with the support of the Ministry of Health of Kazakhstan. As part of this initiative, Kazakh specialists are providing consultations, examinations, complex surgeries, and master classes for local colleagues, reports infohub.kz.
On the first day, 16 Kazakh doctors began seeing residents of the villages of Vasilyevka and Khun-Chi. To conduct examinations, the Almaty Region sent three mobile medical units equipped with modern equipment to Kyrgyzstan.
The visit program includes exchange of experience in areas such as cardiology, oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, and traumatology.
A separate block was the performance of complex surgeries by Kazakh surgeons at the First City Clinical Hospital named after K. Ryskulova in Bishkek. The doctors demonstrated technologies that allow interventions through small incisions. This approach aims to reduce surgical trauma and accelerate patient recovery.
Another platform for professional exchange was the National Center of Oncology and Hematology in Bishkek, where an international master class titled "Modern Endoscopic Solutions in the Diagnosis and Treatment of Gastrointestinal Tract Formations" was held. Specialists from both countries discussed the possibilities of modern endoscopic diagnostics and minimally invasive treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, including the use of new technologies.
"The Days of Kazakh Medicine are an opportunity to present the potential of our healthcare system through the concrete work of doctors. Such interaction strengthens professional ties and the traditionally close cooperation between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan in the field of healthcare," noted Vice Minister of Health of Kazakhstan and head of the delegation Manas Ramazanov.
In August, the Days of Kazakh Medicine were already held in Tajikistan, as reported by Kursiv Health.
