According to the information portal of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, police officers in Zharkent uncovered a case of driving a car with a state registration plate belonging to another vehicle.
It was established that the driver of an Audi 100 had attached the license plate from a Toyota Camry to his car and drove around the city streets. The violation was detected by police officers. The vehicle was stopped, the driver was held accountable, and the materials were sent to court.
After reviewing the case, the Panfilov District Court found the driver guilty and sentenced him to 5 days of administrative arrest. In addition, the man was deprived of the right to drive vehicles for one year. The fake license plate was confiscated and is subject to destruction in accordance with the established procedure.
