Kazakh entrepreneurs will no longer have to visit a bank to get a corporate card. A new service available in the eGov Business app will allow them to obtain a Visa bank card remotely, reports infohub.kz.
The launch of the service was announced at a government meeting by Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development Zhaslan Madiyev. After issuance, the card can be immediately added to Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay and used for payments. Card details will also be available directly in eGov Business.
It is important to note that bank card data will not be stored on the platform. According to Madiyev, the bank and the payment system Visa are responsible for their storage and security.
The new service will be part of the development of eGov Business as a unified digital platform for entrepreneurs. The authorities plan to combine government services, business services, and available support measures in it.
In addition, in September, eGov Business plans to launch the Smart Contract service. Contracts and transactions, including contracts with contractors, will be able to be fully executed electronically with digital signature (ECS).
According to Madiyev, in 2026 alone, the updated eGov Business app was downloaded 135,000 times. About 35,000 entrepreneurs use it regularly every month. "The numbers speak for themselves. Through eGov Business, the state plans to support entrepreneurs at various stages of business operations. The app brings together services related to business registration, opening a bank account, obtaining licenses, company development, and changes in its structure.
In particular, the platform has already digitized the procedure for closing an individual entrepreneur (IE), which previously, according to Madiyev, lacked a clear and understandable digital mechanism. In addition, in early August, the app introduced the ability to transfer a business share to trust management. "Previously, a pressing problem was the lack of a clear and understandable procedure for closing an IE, and the process was not digitized. Now it is available in eGov Business, and at the beginning of the month, the app introduced the ability to process the transfer of a business share to trust management," Madiyev said.
Obtaining a corporate card will be another service that entrepreneurs can receive through eGov Business without a separate visit to the bank. The exact launch date of the new service has not yet been announced.
