In the Zhambyl region, a father has been held accountable for drinking alcohol in the presence of his minor son, reports infohub.kz.
According to information published on the official Telegram channel of the Zhambyl regional courts, the specialized inter-district court for juvenile cases considered an administrative case against a man for failing to fulfill his duties in raising his child (Part 1 of Article 127 of the Administrative Code).
It was established that a resident of the Merke district, while at home, consumed alcoholic beverages in the presence of his minor son, thereby exerting a negative influence on him. In this regard, a protocol was drawn up against the father and administrative proceedings were initiated.
The man's guilt is confirmed by the protocol, testimony of the parties, and other case materials. He fully admitted his guilt.
The sanction of Part 1 of Article 127 of the Administrative Code provides for a fine of 10 MCI. However, taking into account the admission of guilt, the commission of the offense for the first time, a positive reference, and the absence of aggravating circumstances, the court reduced the fine by 30%.
By the court's decision, the man was found guilty under Part 1 of Article 127 of the Administrative Code and fined 7 MCI, which amounts to 30,275 tenge.
The decision has not yet entered into legal force.
