In the Zhambyl region, a man who insulted a minor at a cafe has been sentenced to 10 days of administrative arrest. The offender claims he remembers nothing, reports infohub.kz.
According to the official Telegram channel of the Zhambyl regional courts, the Sarysu district court considered an administrative case against the man for petty hooliganism (Part 1 of Article 443 of the Administrative Code).
In August 2026, in the city of Zhanatas, he climbed over a fence and entered the cafe's premises, then, seeing a minor, began to insult him and throw nearby objects. The child's mother called the police, and a report was filed.
The guilt was confirmed by testimonies, the report, and other case materials. In court, the man explained that he was intoxicated and does not remember what happened. The victim's mother said that a similar situation had occurred before and asked for a strict punishment.
The sanction of Part 1 of Article 443 of the Administrative Code provides for a fine of 20 MCI or community service from 20 to 60 hours, or administrative arrest from 5 to 15 days. The court found no mitigating or aggravating circumstances.
The court found the man guilty and sentenced him to 10 days of administrative arrest. The ruling has not yet entered into force.
