In Almaty, the mother of an 11-year-old boy has alleged that children were bullied in the courtyard of their own apartment building, saying the abuse lasted more than a month. The police department announced the launch of an investigation, according to infohub.kz.
The woman posted her appeal on Threads. According to her, teenagers aged 13–14 beat the younger children for over a month, insulted them and forced them to fight each other.
The mother of the 11-year-old said her son was punched in the stomach and kidneys. "Teenagers aged 13-14 bullied the children for more than a month. My son was beaten in the stomach and kidneys, cursed at with foul language, and raw fish that they caught in Sairan and brought into the yard was shoved into his mouth and ear. And all this was seen by other children. They forced the children to fight each other, and the whole yard lived in fear," she wrote.
After the incident, the woman went to the police and filed a statement. Other parents also filed similar complaints.
"I don't want revenge. I want justice and safety for my child and other children. I will not let this be simply hushed up and forgotten," the woman said.
