Starting from the new academic year, Kazakh schools and kindergartens will implement a comprehensive program to cultivate a culture of behavior and ethical norms, as reported by infohub.kz.
Minister of Education Zholdas Suleimenova stated that educational work in the country's institutions will receive systematic continuation within the framework of the "Adal Azamat" concept. The changes will affect all levels of education, from preschool to graduating classes.
"The task of forming new ethical guidelines for society will become an important part of educational work. Norms of behavior and social culture will be consistently developed within the framework of the 'Adal Azamat' program from kindergarten to graduation. Starting from the new academic year, special classes will begin—culture of behavior, respect for others, and communication skills will become part of the new KPIs," emphasized Zholdas Suleimenova.
A separate area of work is related to fostering a careful attitude towards nature. By the end of 2026, within the framework of the national concept "Taza Kazakhstan," it is planned to introduce a unified standard for environmental education, as well as launch a special project focused on caring for the environment.
The Minister also noted that the safety and psychological well-being of students remain an absolute priority for the department. Preventive measures are already yielding results. Teenage crime decreased by 4% in the first half of the year. Additionally, the number of minors on special registration decreased by 40.5%.
As the head of the Ministry of Education summarized, the main goal of the department is to create a school that not only provides fundamental knowledge but also instills basic values, ensuring the complete safety of every child.
