Kazakh performer Binazir Yermaganbetova, known by her stage name BikaBreezy, has won a music award in China alongside Chinese rapper JayTrue — their joint track Bāshì was named Pop Song of the Year, according to infohub.kz.
The artists received the Pop Songs Chart 2026 award in the "Popular Song of the Year" category. Bāshì was released in February 2026. After its release, the song went viral on social media thanks to a trending challenge, and later club DJs in Shanghai began playing it.
After the award ceremony, BikaBreezy shared her impressions on social media and thanked her listeners.
"Inner strength, discipline, talent, constant self-improvement, flexibility, responsibility and the people who come into your life at exactly the right moment will definitely lead you to results. The main thing is to keep going. Even when the road ahead is not yet visible," Yermaganbetova said.
The performer gained widespread fame in China in 2026 after appearing on the music show The Rap of China.
Earlier, Kursiv LifeStyle reported that Binazir Yermaganbetova complained about investigators from the Medeu district over a protracted case against her neighbor. According to the singer, the man beat her in the courtyard of her home.
