Employees of the Ministry of Trade and Integration underwent testing in the state language under the KAZTEST system. The assessment covered staff from various departments, the website infohub.kz reports.
The test was administered in person and free of charge. The ministry said the primary aim was to gauge the actual Kazakh language skills of civil servants and evaluate their linguistic abilities, which is essential for enhancing their capacity to perform professional duties in the state language.
The results will indicate which officials require further training to upgrade their Kazakh language skills. Passing the KAZTEST is compulsory for all government employees, as outlined in the Action Plan for the Implementation of State Language Policy.
