A woman in Petropavlovsk has been held accountable for posting videos containing profanity on Instagram, reports infohub.kz.
The specialized administrative court of Petropavlovsk reviewed the case under Part 1 of Article 434 of the Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Administrative Offenses. It was established that on August 3, 2026, the woman, who owns an Instagram page with a certain number of followers, posted two videos in which she publicly used profanity.
The court classified her actions as petty hooliganism. During the court session, her guilt was confirmed by the case materials. By court ruling, the offender was found guilty and subjected to an administrative penalty in the form of a fine of 60,550 tenge.
The court ruling has not yet entered into legal force. Earlier it was reported that in Kazakhstan, more than 20 streamers have been brought to responsibility for illegal content. Seeking views, likes, and donations, they used profanity, displayed indecent behavior, staged dangerous pranks, and insulted other people.
