Freestyle wrestling competitions at an international ranking tournament concluded in Budapest, Hungary, reports infohub.kz.

On the final day, Kazakhstan’s team won one medal. Yedige Kassymbek took first place in the 125 kg weight category. In the final, the Kazakh wrestler defeated Poland’s Kamil Tomasz Kośćciolek.

Thus, the Kazakh team finished the tournament with seven medals. Earlier, Assyl Aitakyn (61 kg) also took gold. Nurkhoja Kaipanov (74 kg) won silver. Bronze medals went to Adilet Almukhamedov (61 kg), Nurdanat Aytanov, Meiyrbek Kartbay (57 kg), and Nachyn Kuular (65 kg).

Additionally, women's wrestling competitions also began in Budapest. On the first day, Zeinep Bayanova (50 kg) won a bronze medal.
