Kazakhstan has launched a pilot project, the "Register of Mandatory Requirements in Entrepreneurship," based on artificial intelligence. The service automatically analyzes legislation and helps entrepreneurs track mandatory requirements, reports the website infohub.kz.

The Ministry of National Economy and the Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development of Kazakhstan have launched the pilot project, the Ministry of National Economy reported.

The new digital service operates on AI algorithms and is designed to simplify entrepreneurs' access to current legislative requirements. The system automatically analyzes existing regulatory legal acts, identifies requirements for businesses, systematizes them, and updates the information.

The ministry noted that the project aims to reduce the administrative burden on entrepreneurs, increase regulatory transparency, and make the business environment more predictable.

Automated analysis of legislation reduces the time and resources entrepreneurs spend on searching for and studying requirements for specific types of activities. Structured information should also help businesses better navigate legislation and reduce the risk of unintentional violations of established norms.

Additionally, the system allows for prompt tracking of changes in regulatory legal acts and incorporating them into companies' operations.

The pilot project was launched in execution of the presidential address of September 8, 2025, "Kazakhstan in the Era of Artificial Intelligence." To implement it, the two ministries signed a joint order.

Currently, the new functionality is available on the digital AI platform for business. In the near future, the service is also planned to be launched on the eGov Business portal.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that President Qasym-Jomart Toqaev called for moving from discussing digitalization and artificial intelligence to their practical application in everyday life. According to him, digital technologies should work for citizens and help, among other things, in doing business and earning income. 2026 has been declared the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence in Kazakhstan.
