Kazakhstan's archery team has entered competition at the XX Summer Asian Games 2026, hosted by Japan. Qualification in all ten disciplines of the tournament took place on Saturday, September 26, according to infohub.kz.
Medals at the Asian Games will be awarded in compound and recurve archery in individual, team, and mixed events. In individual events, no more than two athletes per country could advance to the playoffs.
In men's compound archery, Andrey Tyutyun and Dilmukhamet Musa will continue competing for medals, while Viktoriya Lyan and Adel Zhexenbinova will represent the women. The men's team event will feature Andrey Tyutyun, Dilmukhamet Musa, and Akbarali Karabayev, and the women's team will include Viktoriya Lyan, Adel Zhexenbinova, and Roksana Yunusova. In the mixed event, Kazakhstan will be represented by Andrey Tyutyun and Viktoriya Lyan.
In recurve archery, Ilfat Abdullin and Dauletkeldi Zhanbyrbay advanced to the playoffs for the men, while Samira Zhumagulova and Alexandra Zemlyanova advanced for the women. The men's team consists of Ilfat Abdullin, Dauletkeldi Zhanbyrbay, and Dastan Karimov, and the women's team includes Samira Zhumagulova, Alexandra Zemlyanova, and Medina Murat. Ilfat Abdullin and Samira Zhumagulova will compete in the mixed team event.
The archery playoffs begin on September 27, with the finals starting on September 30.
