In 2025, residents of Kazakhstan spent over 127 billion tenge on beauty services, reports infohub.kz.
According to the Bureau of National Statistics, the total volume of beauty services in the country reached 127.3 billion tenge. The largest share was hairdressing services — 67.5 billion tenge, which is 5.3% more than a year earlier.
Cosmetic services, including manicure and pedicure, brought in 7.5 billion tenge. Another 52.3 billion tenge came from other beauty salon services, including those related to hair treatment.
The agency notes that the beauty industry is actively developing not only in cities but also in rural areas. In 2025, the volume of hairdressing services in villages grew by 4.2% compared to 2024, reaching 34.3 billion tenge. Other beauty salon services in rural areas amounted to 1.9 billion tenge, and cosmetology services — 814.9 million tenge.
