The coaching staff of Kazakhstan's men's national boxing team has finalized the roster for the 2026 Asian Games, to be held in the Japanese cities of Aichi and Nagoya, reports infohub.kz.
The national team's entry includes six athletes: Makhmud Sabyrkhan (up to 55 kg), Orazbek Asylkulov (up to 60 kg), Torekhan Sabyrkhan (up to 70 kg), Sabyrzhan Akkalykov (up to 80 kg), Nurbek Oralbay (up to 90 kg), and Aibek Oralbay (over 90 kg).
Earlier, the roster for Kazakhstan's women's team was announced. Competing at the Asian Games will be Alua Balkibekova (up to 51 kg), Nazym Kyzaibay (up to 54 kg), Victoria Grafeeva (up to 60 kg), Aida Abikeyeva (up to 65 kg), and Natalya Bogdanova (up to 75 kg).
The opening ceremony of the 2026 Asian Games is scheduled for September 19, with the boxing tournament starting on September 21.
