Pax Finance, Kazakhstan's first licensed crypto exchange, has announced its integration with the mobile app of Alatau City Bank, owned by the country's wealthiest businessman, Vyacheslav Kim. As a result, bank clients can now top up their Pax Finance accounts directly from their bank cards via the app, reports infohub.kz.
The company said users no longer need to visit third-party websites or manually enter payment details. Account top-ups will be processed through an integrated service within the bank's ecosystem. All transactions go through the licensed platform, with full compliance with identification and customer verification procedures.
Pax Finance CEO Aslan Beispekov said the integration is part of a strategy to develop legal infrastructure for digital assets in Kazakhstan.
"We are implementing the head of state's instruction to turn Kazakhstan into a crypto hub for Central Asia. The integration with Alatau City Bank is part of our strategy to create the most convenient and legal infrastructure for working with digital assets," he said.
At the first stage, users will be able to quickly convert fiat money into digital assets. The next step will be to launch fast withdrawals to reduce transaction times in both directions.
In early July, the National Bank issued Pax Finance the first crypto exchange license in Kazakhstan's history. The license allows the company to officially buy, sell, and store digital assets, as well as open branches and install crypto ATMs.
Pax Finance was registered in Astana in May 2026. Its founders include financier and author of the Telegram channel Finmentor.kz Arman Batayev, one of the first participants in Kazakhstan's crypto industry Azat Bekmagambetov, and entrepreneur Orynkul Yeszhanova.
Alatau City Bank is controlled by Vyacheslav Kim, co-owner of Kaspi.kz. According to Forbes, his fortune is estimated at $7.8 billion, making him the richest businessman in Kazakhstan.
