Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs has warned of a surge in fake SMS messages claiming to notify applicants of enrollment in its educational institutions, according to the website infohub.kz.
As reported by the Telegram channel Polisia.kz, the messages are false and have no connection to the ministry. "The admission campaign is still ongoing. All stages of the competitive selection have not been completed. Admissions are being carried out within the established timeframe: from July 15 to 25," the ministry clarified.
Final results of the admission campaign will be available exclusively in the applicant's personal account in the Qyzmet police information system after all selection stages are completed and decisions are made by the admissions committees. The Interior Ministry emphasized that the Qyzmet police system does not send SMS messages about enrollment.
Citizens are urged not to trust such messages, not to click on links contained in them, not to disclose personal data, and to rely only on official information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
