Kazakhstan's men's national football team has slipped in the updated rankings of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), published after the latest round of matches, according to infohub.kz.
In September and October, the national team kicked off its Nations League campaign. Kazakhstan drew twice with the Faroe Islands (1-1 and 2-2) and suffered two defeats — to Slovakia (1-2) and Moldova (1-2).
In the updated FIFA rankings, the team dropped six places to 117th. Its closest neighbors are Indonesia and Sudan.
Spain, the reigning world champion, remains at the top of the rankings. Portugal returned to the top five, climbing two spots.
