Kazakhstan's Ministry of Internal Affairs has warned citizens about fraudulent SMS messages falsely informing applicants that they have been admitted to ministry-run educational institutions, reports infohub.kz.

The ministry stated that these messages are not related to the agency and are fake. The admissions campaign for MVD universities is not yet complete: all stages of competitive selection are ongoing, and document submission continues within the established timeframe — from July 15 to 25.

Final results will be announced only after all stages are finished and admissions committees have made their decisions. Applicants will be able to view the results exclusively through their personal account in the Qyzmet police information system.

The ministry emphasized that the Qyzmet police system does not send SMS notifications about enrollment. It urged the public not to trust such messages, not to click on links within them, not to share personal data with third parties, and to use only official sources of information.
