Kazakhstan's junior triathlon team won silver medals in the mixed relay at the European Cup stage in Izvorani, Romania, according to infohub.kz.
The team of Diana Yerzhanova, Alua Nurmukhamet, Alham Murat, and Arseniy Shevchenko completed the course in 1 hour 34 minutes 56 seconds, finishing second. The winners were the hosts, Romania (1:34:31), while Turkey took third place (1:35:42).
This medal is the second for Kazakhstan at the tournament. Earlier, Diana Yerzhanova won gold in the individual competition.
