Minister of Science and Higher Education Sayasat Nurbek has announced the exact time for the publication of the lists of recipients of state grants for master's programs for the 2026-2027 academic year. The results will be available on August 24 at 15:00, reports infohub.kz.
"A meeting of the Republican Commission for awarding state educational grants for master's programs for the 2026-2027 academic year has taken place," Nurbek wrote on his Telegram channel.
The results of the competitive selection will be published on the official pages of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, as well as on the information resources of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education.
The Republican Commission has already completed the review of applicants' submissions. Its members include representatives of the ministry, other state bodies, education sector trade unions, the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, and public organizations. Grants were distributed on a competitive basis in accordance with current regulations.
"Admission of future master's students to higher and postgraduate education organizations will continue until August 28, 2026, inclusive," the minister reminded.
Earlier it was reported that in 2026, about 23,000 applications were submitted for the state grant competition for master's programs, which is 3,000 more than the previous year. The most popular fields were pedagogical sciences, information and communication technologies, as well as engineering, manufacturing, and construction industries.
