In Kazakhstan, favorable conditions for observing a powerful meteor shower will develop next week, according to infohub.kz.

As reporters from KTK TV channel found out, moonlight will not prevent Kazakhs from seeing the powerful August meteor shower. Already next week, they will be able to see up to a hundred shooting stars per hour.

According to astrologers, the peak of the Perseid meteor shower activity is expected on the night of August 12-13. Specialists note that this year the conditions for observation will be especially favorable. "The best time to watch the meteor shower is after midnight and until dawn. Astronomers recommend going far from the city so that light does not interfere with observations. In addition, this year the Perseid peak will occur shortly after the new moon, so moonlight will not interfere with observations," the report says.

If the weather is clear, Kazakhs will be able to see up to a hundred meteors per hour. No special equipment is needed. Just an open patch of sky and a few minutes for your eyes to adjust to the dark.
