Kazakhstan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has advised Kazakh citizens in Saudi Arabia to avoid airports unless absolutely necessary and to postpone non-urgent travel where possible. The warning was issued amid attacks on the country's civilian infrastructure, according to infohub.kz.

The ministry urged citizens to exercise heightened caution, follow instructions from local authorities, and avoid crowded places and high-risk facilities.

Before heading to the airport, travelers should check their flight status with the airline.

In an emergency, Kazakh citizens are advised to contact the Kazakh Embassy in Riyadh or the Consulate General in Jeddah. The following consular phone numbers are provided for urgent communication:

Riyadh — +966 55 663 01 77;

Jeddah — +966 53 275 80 80.

The Foreign Ministry also asks citizens to monitor official announcements from the ministry and local authorities.

Earlier, Kursiv reported that, according to preliminary data from the Foreign Ministry, no Kazakh citizens were among those killed or injured in the attacks on Saudi Arabia. The ministry condemned the Yemeni Houthi attacks on the country's civilian infrastructure, which caused loss of life, and stressed that they contradict the norms of international law.
