Kazakh security forces have unveiled an unusual new approach to fraud prevention: they took the popular song "Heart of a Boy" and completely rewrote its lyrics as a warning about financial pyramids. The news was reported by infohub.kz.
In the video, produced by the Agency for Financial Monitoring, a young man meets with an agency officer. Instead of the usual lecture about scammers, the officer performs a reworked version of the track.
"You're not a kid anymore, don't get into this. Did you think you were the smartest and wouldn't be fooled?" the lyrics say.
At the end, the uniformed character gives the main advice: don't get involved with dubious schemes and don't try to get rich quick.
Judging by the comments, the audience received the unusual format positively. Users are calling the video creative.
"Cuties," "Well, jacks of all trades," "The creativity is off the charts! Awesome!" subscribers write.
This is not the first time Kazakh security forces have used popular formats for crime prevention. Previously, police made videos set to "Barbie Girl" and also released videos in the style of "Avatar."
Earlier, Kursiv wrote that in Pavlodar Region, another 139 victims of the HAS financial pyramid were identified; it operated across Kazakhstan three years ago. The financial pyramid operated in Kazakhstan in 2022–2023.
