On Sunday, October 11, severe weather will hit most of Kazakhstan: forecasters have issued a storm warning, with fog expected across several regions and strong winds in some areas, according to infohub.kz.

According to Kazhydromet, fog is possible at night and in the morning on October 11 in the north of Aktobe region. Meanwhile, high fire danger persists in the east of the region, while extreme fire danger is expected in the west, south, and center of the region.

In Zhetisu region, winds with gusts of 17–22 m/s are expected on Sunday afternoon near the Alakol lakes. High fire danger continues in the east of the region.

Fog is forecast at night and in the morning in the west and south of Atyrau region. High fire danger persists across the region, with extreme fire danger in the south.

In Mangystau region, fog is possible at night and in the morning in the west and center. High fire danger continues in the center of the region.

Fog is expected at night and in the morning on October 11 in the west, north, and east of Karaganda region. The same situation is forecast in the west, north, and east of Ulytau region. Extreme fire danger persists in the west, south, and center of Ulytau.

In Akmola region, fog is possible at night and in the morning in the west, north, and east. During the day, winds with gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected in the west and north of the region.

In Kostanay region, fog is forecast at night and in the morning in the west and north. During the day, winds with gusts of 15–20 m/s are expected in the same areas. High fire danger persists in the south of the region.

In East Kazakhstan region, fog may descend at night and in the morning in the west, north, and east. Fog is also possible at night and in the morning in the north and center of Abai region.

In North Kazakhstan region, fog is expected at night and in the morning in the west and north. Winds in the west, north, and south of the region will strengthen to 15–20 m/s.

In Turkistan region, winds with gusts of 15–20 m/s are forecast in the north and mountainous areas.

In West Kazakhstan region, fog is possible at night and in the morning in the north and east. High fire danger persists in the west, south, and east of the region.

In the mountainous areas of Zhambyl region, fog is forecast on October 11. Winds in the northeast and mountainous areas of the region will reach 15–20 m/s.

In Pavlodar region, fog is expected at night and in the morning in the south, east, and center.
