Kazakhstan is introducing a mechanism for pre-filling tax declarations, which will significantly simplify the process for citizens. The system will now automatically load all data on property and income, leaving taxpayers only to verify and confirm the information, reports infohub.kz.
By September 15, some Kazakhstanis need to submit declarations of assets and liabilities (Form 250) or income and property (Form 270). As the State Revenue Committee (SRC) explained, work is actively underway to implement pre-filling of declarations. The system automatically loads information about property acquired or sold during the reporting period. In the future, it is planned to add income and other necessary details to pre-filled declarations.
Kazakhstanis will need to check the automatically generated data, supplement or correct it if necessary, and then confirm and submit the declaration. According to committee specialists, this approach will reduce the time spent filling out declarations and lower the risk of technical errors.
Recall that by September 15, declarations for 2025 must be submitted by: civil servants and equivalent persons, as well as their spouses; major participants in banks, securities markets, and insurance organizations, along with their spouses; heads and founders of companies owning more than 10% of the charter capital; individuals engaged in private practice; citizens who received income subject to self-taxation; owners of accounts in foreign banks with balances exceeding 1,000 monthly calculation indices (MCI) and property abroad; owners of digital assets; and citizens who acquired property in 2025 with a total value exceeding 20,000 MCI, including property outside Kazakhstan.
