From September 4 to 10, truck traffic will be restricted on a section of the Astana-Karaganda-Almaty highway, reports infohub.kz.
According to the national road operator KazAvtoZhol, medium repair works on the road surface are being carried out on the stretch from the 1209th to the 1201st kilometer (near the city of Kaskelen and the village of Ulan).
In this regard, from September 4 to 10, daily from 06:00 to 19:00, truck traffic will be temporarily restricted. For heavy vehicles, a detour has been organized via the republican highway BAKAD, as well as via local roads: Almalybak-Zhambyl, Almalybak-Ulan, Almalybak-Koshmambet, and Almalybak-Elta.
Passenger cars and public transport will be able to move along the shoulder.
KazAvtoZhol urged road users to take into account temporary inconveniences when planning routes and to strictly follow traffic signs and instructions from traffic controllers.
