A system that automatically identifies unemployed residents and offers them jobs has begun operating in the Pavlodar and Mangystau regions. The pilot project has covered more than 59,000 people, and from November the digital employment service is planned to be expanded to other regions of Kazakhstan, reports infohub.kz.
The platform was presented to Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov at the "Yenbek – el muraty" event dedicated to Labor Day. Solutions for workforce training and industrial safety, including those using artificial intelligence, were also demonstrated there.
At the same time, the government is preparing a new employment program. Its main focus will be on vocational training tailored to the needs of enterprises and the development of digital skills. By the end of the year, professional standards are planned to cover 600 blue-collar occupations.
According to government data, since the beginning of the year more than 475,000 Kazakhstanis have been provided with jobs. More than 800,000 vacancies are available on the Electronic Labor Exchange.
At the end of the event, on behalf of President Qasym-Jomart Toqaev, 37 people were awarded: 18 received the Order of "Qurmet," two received the Order of "Yenbek Danky" III degree, and another 17 received the medal "Eren yenbegi ushin." Among the awardees are drivers, machinists, turners, locksmiths, engineers, machine operators, a social worker and a coach. Their work experience ranges from 15 to 53 years.
Earlier, "Kursiv" wrote that in 2026 Kazakhstan plans to employ 547,700 people.
