Kazakhstan's national broadcaster KazteleRadio has announced a temporary suspension of TV and radio broadcasts across the country. From 03:00 to 17:00, satellite, digital terrestrial, and analog television and radio networks will be shut down for preventive maintenance, reports Orda.kz.
The national operator said the maintenance is aimed at ensuring stable and quality operation of equipment.
"After the work is completed, broadcasting will resume as usual," the operator said.
In March this year, we reported that Kazakhstan had cut off broadcasting of Channel One and other Russian TV channels. However, on the day of Russian President Vladimir Putin's state visit (May 27), the broadcasts were restored without any notice.
