During the Days of Culture of Kazakhstan in Vietnam, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva met with Deputy Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Pham Thi Thanh Tra. The parties discussed promising areas for further development of bilateral relations, reports infohub.kz.
Balayeva noted that relations between the two states have entered a new stage after they reached the level of strategic partnership last year. This creates conditions for deepening not only political and economic ties, but also cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
“We are following the development of cultural and creative industries in Vietnam with great interest. We see a number of promising areas for cooperation here – from cinema, performing arts and cultural tourism to heritage preservation, traditional crafts and modern design. I am confident that exchanging experience in these areas can give new impetus to our cooperation,” she emphasized.
Special attention during the talks was paid to the development of creative tourism – a format that involves immersing travelers in the local cultural environment through traditional crafts, gastronomy, master classes and participation in creative programs.
In addition, Aida Balayeva proposed to intensify cooperation in the field of cinematography. For example, to hold mutual Film Weeks in Kazakhstan and Vietnam, expand the participation of filmmakers from both countries in international festivals, and organize filming processes on the territories of both countries.
Another priority area is the creation of comprehensive tourist routes. They will combine cultural heritage sites, historical cities, museums, craft centers and modern art spaces of Kazakhstan and Vietnam.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed mutual interest in implementing joint initiatives.
